MISSION

Our mission is to embrace, empower, encourage and unite the community. Acknowledge and celebrate unsung Heroes and Heroines in our community. Provide an open forum to share concerns and solutions for our local communities. Offer Entrepreneurship Programs, Financial Literacy Workshops, Health & Wellness Seminars, Networking Events, Publishing Services, Senior Citizens Resources and Youth Development with Leadership Programs for all ages. 

 

Our purpose is to encourage groups, foundations and organizations to work together for the community's advancements in hope of Higher Consciousness. Impact our community  through Continuing Education, Employment Opportunities, Entrepreneurship, Traditional & Untraditional Vocational Training, Volunteering and Worship leaving none of the least behind.

Arizona Renters Rights Regarding AC

Everyone has a right to cool air!

Phoenix requires landlords to maintain a maximum 82* for units with air conditioning, or 86* for units with evaporative coolers. The city will investigate complaints. For more information, please call (602) 262-7210

How To Exercise Your Tenant's Rights

If the landlord fails to supply air conditioning, tenant must give notice to the landlord to make needed repair. 

  1. Give Written Notice and Terminate Lease

  2. Give Written Notice and File An Injunction

  3. Give Written Notice and Procure Portable AC

  4. Give Written Notice and Receive Housing Credit

  5. Give Written Notice and Sue for Reduced Value
